According to a new report from The Daily Yonder, the U.S. rural vaccination rate shot up another 20% last week, with two-thirds of rural counties increasing their vaccination numbers.
With 362,000 new vaccinations, 40.4% of rural America is fully vaccinated against COVID-19. However, the death rate from COVID in rural areas is twice that of metropolitan/urban counties.
